I wrote this poem while trying not to listen to a lecture in the university where i was doing my masters. I sent it to poetry.com and they not only accepted it but published it in a book called "Immortal Verses Series". For details visit www.poetry.com (Yeah right! :)
You are One?
How can it be so?
Are you not in me?
But then again, don't I see you in the person yonder?
Doesn't that tree, laden with fruits betray your presence?
And those fleeting hordes of clouds your sweet face?
Didn't I see you in the mighty waves of the ocean?
Or in the frail petals of young daffodils?
Didn't the wind blowing in my face announced your arrival?
Or the raindrops drenched me with your pure visitation?
If I see you everywhere I go, how could you be one?
Or the frame of your presence is encompassing this earth?
If it be so then how can you be one in every object I see?
Wouldn't that just be a part of you?
Or is it just a reflection of you I see in everything I see around me?
If it be so then does that mean that everything in the world is one?
Millions of fragments reflecting the Only one?
Each one a different entity,a lonely figure?
A complete world throughout eternity?
Who knows; maybe after all...You ARE One!!
